Update: June 3, 2020
Beginning Saturday, June 6, the club will open its doors for the noon meeting. This decision did not come easy. We understand the situation is not ideal. We also understand that if this is to work, we will need all those who choose to attend to gracefully adopt some temporary modifications.
Masks will be required. The tables have been removed and the seats are spread apart. No handheld microphone will be used. Only 45 people may be indoors at any time-35 in the big room and 10 overflow seats in the serenity room. We also ask that only 2 people occupy either restroom at a time.
The café will remain closed for the time being.
The Triangle Club remains committed to providing a safe environment for all those seeking recovery. We chose to begin with the noon meeting due to the midday heat. Several attendees have been meeting outside in groups of ten and the heat and rain commonly present aided this decision. Details of other meetings held inside are soon to follow.
We encourage the continued use of Zoom meetings and small meetings outside throughout this process.
